Our ground schools are designed to help prepare students for the required Private Pilot or Instrument Rating FAA Written Exams. All topic areas covered in each exam will be thoroughly reviewed. Held in our spacious and relaxing 17-seat amphitheater classroom, the ground schools provide a mixture of power-point presentations with hands-on exercises, and group discussions to aid the student in having a thorough understanding of the material presented. Each course is held two evenings per week for six weeks, with classes beginning at either 6:00 or 6:30 and lasting for approximately two hours in duration. Upon successful completion of the ground school course the student will be provided with the required ground instructor authorization that allows them to take the FAA Written Exam.
