So you want to fly a drone?

You’re probably on this page because you are interested in taking a Part 107 UAS Exam. To take the exam, you will need to call CATS Testing Center (844) 704-1487 for exam registration – the exam is $150 and you pay over the phone. Once you get on the phone with them, let CATS know that you would like to take the Part 107 drone exam at Beverly Flight Center along with the day and time you would want to take the exam. They will set you up with the appointment and send you an email with information regarding the exam along with our address which is on the right side and bottom of this website.

Once you show up at Beverly Flight Center, you will sign in with one of our CATS testing proctors who will then have you verify your information. After you take the exam you will receive a score report which you cannot loose. The proctor will give you a sheet with information on how to get your official remote pilot certificate through the FAA’s IACRA website.

Study materials for the exam can be found over various websites on the internet, however, below are some of the sites you can visit to get started. Also, there are many courses you can download to study for the exam as well. Good luck and fly safely!
