| -Under the age of 16 you may fly with an instructor only. -16 years and older allows you to apply for a student license. **This allow you to solo (fly the plane by YOURSELF) -17 years and older enables you to apply for a private license YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO OLD TO FLY!!! |

| You must receive a medical exam given by a doctor with an FAA accreditation.
This medical exam is required before you are able to solo. **We have a listing of approved doctors in the area. |

| Private License: Minimum of 40 flight hours total. (FAA requirement) -20 dual hours (student & instructor) -10 solo hours (only occupant in the aircraft) -10 additional hours *Please note these are the minimum number of hours; we find students average between 50 and 60 flight hours. |

| The average time it takes to acquire a private license is 6 months to a year to fulfill the requirements. We find the closer that you schedule your flight lessons, the more information you retain between them and the faster you can cover material needed for the flight test. | ||||
