"I went from knowing nothing about airplanes, to obtaining a private pilot’s certificate in a little under a year."

When I first came to the Beverly Flight Center in September of 2008, the only thing I knew about airplanes is that they flew. As a student at North Shore Community College, the instructors there were able to fit my schedule and my fast-track timeline in order to become a commercial pilot in two years. I went from knowing nothing about airplanes, to obtaining a private pilot’s certificate in a little under a year. A lot of help came from the instructors at the center. They were able to provide me with the knowledge and the confidence that is required to complete a flight safely. In addition, they were always friendly, willing to talk and answer questions. I am confident that you will be pleased with the service and quality of the staff at the Beverly Flight Center, and I hope to see you up in the skies soon.

"Beverly Flight Center gives the best education for a safe, knowledgeable, aspiring pilot!"

As a current student at the Beverly Flight Center, I have received the best individualized education in the classroom and in the plane. Each instructor at BFC is well-trained, well-informed and they care about your future. Before each lesson, there is a briefing on how the lesson will go, performance charts are checked, your accuracy of weather depiction is reviewed, and then the real fun begins-you fly! At the end of each lesson the flight is discussed and where you need to focus improvement on is written down with a plan of how and when it will be mastered. The flight training is not easy, but with the support of my instructor he always kept me well aware of where I was in my training and always focused on keeping the costs down for me. Beverly Flight Center gives the best education for a safe, knowledgeable, aspiring pilot!

"I went in for a scenic flight and came out a Flight Instructor."

I had always wanted to be a pilot but never knew how to get started. One nice fall day I decided to book a scenic flight at Beverly Flight Center just to get up in a airplane.  I never envisioned that that flight would literally change my life. I was hooked!  The instructor for the scenic flight walked me through the process of becoming a private pilot, and just a few weeks later I was scheduling lessons.   A few years later I had received my Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFI-I ratings all at Beverly Flight Center. I went in for a scenic flight and came out a Flight Instructor. Throughout all of my years of training at Beverly Flight Center I have found the staff to be nothing short of amazing.  The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and the management staff is always very accommodating and helpful with whatever you may need. The atmosphere at Beverly Flight Center is great, it is always a fun place to visit and chat with other pilots and students and swap stories. In short, learning to fly at Beverly Flight Center was one of the best decisions I have ever made!!

"The staff at BFC made everything so easy to get started."

As a kid, I had always heard of my Great Uncle George, who was a fighter pilot in WWII. He flew for the Flying Tigers in a P-51 Mustang. Pictures were occasionally passed around with George standing proudly next to his P-51. I can only imagine what that must have been like! Since those old black and white photos were circulated, I knew that someday I would become a pilot. After graduating from college, and then earning my master electrical license, it was time to have some fun and fullfill a dream, start working on my private pilot's license. I made the trip to Beverly Flight Center one summer afternoon to gather some information on where to start. The staff at BFC made everything so easy to get started. Having to work during the day meant I could only fly in the late afternoon and evenings, which my instructor had absolutely no problem with. From that day on, I spent evenings in the classroom and in the cockpit. The dedication that the staff at BFC is top notch. In just a little over a year, I passed my flight exam! A life long dream had come true, and Uncle George would have been proud.
